My baseball team is supposed to be hitting tomorrow in Valley Park off of Marshall Rd. just east of 141......I am going to have to move it....it appears that the Meramec will be cresting tomorrow at record highs.....

At the indoor cages or at the fields by the river, if it's out by the fields forget it, that is already way way underwater and closed off.
If it's the indoor place it might be open now, but my guess is it will not be soon.

Just got a call from a friend that is near the soccer park. All they can see of the soccer fields is the scoreboard.

It's the 'Batting Cage' located in that industrial park just past the railroad tracks off of Marshall Rd...so you think that area is succeptible to the water?

The fields on W Watson and Hwy 30 are all the way up to the yellow line on the OF fence....when I left work at 4PM yesterday there was just a little water on the infield.

Holy shit!......don't you guys play softball across the highway at Fenton Park?....that sits pretty low.....I am wondering if this flood will top our last one.....

I keep hearing it's going to rain some this weekend, then it may not, etc.....

Right now it's dry, and will be dry as long as the Levee holds. But once the water is really high I am not sure if they will be letting people into lower VP just in case, and I am not sure if she will have the cages open anyway given what is going on.

I am pretty sure the water is already over those ball fields in Fenton Park.
And this flood will top the 93 one for sure they say. It already looks worse in places to me.

If it's the same as yesterday, 44 Westbound is shut down due to water over the road near Jerome. Everyone's getting rerouted, and that's why it's so slow.

Does this mean I can finally use an oar as a baseball bat?
