Confederate flag and noose

The house across the street has a Confederate flag and a hangman's noose hanging from the second floor window in the front of the house. The neighbor kid is an 18-year-old high school dropout who just moved back home. The guy is constantly in trouble, but his parents think he's just misunderstood.

The message he's trying to send, (to whom, I don't know) is pretty clear. What, if anything, would you do?

Cops won't do anything. He isn't breaking a law, even though he is an idiot. You can call them I guess just so they know something is going on over there.

I'd say "nothing," given that going to the parents likely results in a Molotov Cocktail through your window, and going to the police results in nothing anyway.

But, calling the local chapter of the NAACP and letting them deal with it could be not so bad.

I would do nothing because he is not breaking the law or really doing anything wrong. However, I voted to call the cops because I really want to hear the story unfold here.

(Plus, I would love for a black cop to show up that is 6'8" and 300 pounds and have that kid make an aggresive move on him. I'd pay good money to watch the kid get the shit kicked out of him)

No, I live in Kansas City, Missouri north of the river, and pretty close to the airport. This area is probably 5% black.

It was my hope that the Lounge could come up with an interesting solution.
