For whatever reason, I haven't been interested in watching college basketball this year. But I tuned into the Big 12 championship between Kansas and Texas. Heck of game. One of the best I've seen in years, with both teams making tremendous plays. Anyone else watch it?

On my mind: How can I shut up the singing English graduate student? How many more lossess will KU's basketball team have than its football team? How will the Rams front office screw up this year?

I hate missing that game today, as I had some errands to run. I think these two teams have a real shot at getting to the Final Four.Make America Great For Once. -
It was a good one. Augustine was just sick in the first half for Texas. Chalmers was unstoppable today for Kansas. Both teams played strong, intense defense...to which the other team responded by hitting tough shots. Just a fun game to watch.On my mind: How can I shut up the singing English graduate student? I will pull for Texas, but no way I would pull for KU unless it's a matchup with someone I dislike more....

I usually do, yeah. I think the football season was so exciting this year that it just drained my normal enthusiasm for basketball. Yep, outside of those first few years when the coaching change went into effect, the overall team performance hasn't been that much different with the exception of a couple years in a row when KU made the final four and then the finals with Heinrich, Gooden and Collinson and then minus Gooden the next year when Carmelo Anthony set the college basketball world on fire the year and Syracuse beat KU in the final.
