Obama's Pastor: God Damn America, U.S. to Blame for 9/11

In the past I have defended Obama with having to answer for every kook that endorses him, like Farakhan.

However.. he should have to give an answer as to why he chose to voluntarily attend and support this church and "pastor".

As a Christian.. I am ashamed and embarassed by these "pastors" who do nothing but distort the Word of God and do damage to the name of Christ.

Maybe it's time for Barack to find another church home.

Obama's Pastor: God Damn America, U.S. to Blame for 9/11

Obama's Pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Has a History of What Even Obama's Campaign Aides Say Is 'Inflammatory Rhetoric'

Sen. Obama told the New York Times he was not at the church on the day of Rev. Wright's 9/11 sermon. "The violence of 9/11 was inexcusable and without justification," Obama said in a recent interview. "It sounds like he was trying to be provocative," Obama told the paper.
Rev. Wright, who announced his retirement last month, has built a large and loyal following at his church with his mesmerizing sermons, mixing traditional spiritual content and his views on contemporary issues.
"I wouldn't call it radical. I call it being black in America," said one congregation member outside the church last Sunday.
"He has impacted the life of Barack Obama so much so that he wants to portray that feeling he got from Rev. Wright onto the country because we all need something positive," said another member of the congregation.

Now those are quotes you want in the press if your Obama.

This is really old news, i'm wondering why it hasn't come out too clearly before. BS about Obama being Muslim ad infinitum, but little about his real church.

"We have supported state terrorism against the Palestinians and black South Africans, and now we are indignant because the stuff we have done overseas is now brought right back to our own front yards. America's chickens are coming home to roost," he told his congregation.

Seriously though, is his pastor's views enough to change some of your minds? Do you think a black man really carries the kind of clout that can lead to a demise of our society?

While I disagree with many of Pastor Wright's opinions, I do understand where he may develop them over time.

I don't care what his pastor believes.

Honestly, I don't care if a candidate believes in God.

Like I said before, I'd like to hear a candidate tell an interviewer when question about faith say:

"The Constitution prohibits a religious litmus test for President, and I will not answer the question. My faith is my private matter."
His mind is not for rent, to any god or government.

I think it shows questionable judgment, on Obama's part. I don't think that Obama himself holds those views.. I just wonder why he continued to take his family to listen to that rhetoric.

It isn't a one time thing.. where it was one sermon. This was continual for 20 years.
