I just can't take seriously an army named FARC.

I think the Monroe Doctrine was meant to keep countries from across the pond from messing with South America. Had little to do with all those banana pickers from fighting with each other.

Oh that's right. I guess I meant the Roosevelt Corollary to the Monroe Doctrine.

Actually, I think it was the Litmus Configuration to the Roosevelt Corollary to the Monroe Doctrine.

These guys fight each other all the time. Honduras fought El Salvador in the "Football War", probably the silliest conflict ever engaged in the Western hemisphere - this is the kind of "war" separate nations fight in SA. Yaks will be along in a minute to tell us how Bush/Cheney will use this as an excuse to depose Chavez.

                  No war for bananas?
If you believe in something sacrifice a hobo to it or don't bother.

I hope this doesn't affect my recent Colombian mail order bride purchase.

My guess is that you meant to blame something on W that can't be blamed on W, and figured that name-dropping historical terms would help your case.

Ah, well. Can't win 'em all.
