Consumer reports has a pretty bad rating for them.
I totaled my car last weekend. I'm looking for a Tacoma. Any thoughts on buying one (Crew cab in the 2003/2004 range)? They are few and far between except at dealerships it seems. Anyone have any recommendations?
The Magnum is a wagon version of the Chrysler 300 and Dodge Charger. The 3.5-liter V6 version we tested delivered good acceleration and 19 mpg overall. The 5.7-liter Hemi V8 shuts off four cylinders while cruising to conserve fuel, but our V8-powered Charger got only 17 mpg overall. The Magnum doesn't shine in ride or handling. The rear seat is roomy, but visibility is compromised by the low roof, high dash, and thick roof pillars. Traction and stability control are available, and optional AWD aids snow traction but at the expense of acceleration and fuel economy. Reliability is well-below average. Owner satisfaction for the V8 model is much higher. Dodge will drop the Magnum in 2008.

Look on ebay, seriously.
Nature always sides with the hidden flaw.
We will have to repent in this generation not merely for the hateful words and actions of the bad people but for the appalling silence of the good people.
I bought my car on ebay a couple of years ago and saved several thousand dollars, then helped a friend do the same.

Personally, not my cup of tea. How does a Jeep Liberty compare?
