THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ST LOUIS HAS ISSUED A SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO 12 PM CST TUESDAY.


RAIN WILL MIX AND CHANGE OVER TO SNOW EARLY TUESDAY MORNING. A STORM TOTAL SNOWFALL OF 1 TO 3 INCHES IS EXPECTED...WITH THE GREATEST AMOUNT FALLING ACROSS CENTRAL ILLINOIS. A SUSTAINED NORTHWEST WIND OF 20 TO 30 MPH WILL GUST TO 40 MPH OVERNIGHT AND TUESDAY MORNING. THIS STRONG WIND WILL COMBINE WITH FALLING SNOW TO LOCALLY REDUCE VISIBILITIES BELOW ONE QUARTER OF A MILE OVERNIGHT AND TUESDAY MORNING.
