    Trapped at Lambert

    Was supposed to fly to CA today with a connnection in D/FW at 12:55. That got cancelled and my next flight was supposed to 4:55. Now it's re-scheduled to 5...tomorrow.

    Doesn't look like I'm getting the CA vacation I planned on. Oh, well.

    I will say this though: the airport staff have all been great and I haven't really seen anyone too disgruntled. Definitely sucks, though...

                Waiting on the wife to come back and pick me up. This was a freelance gig and while the flight, room, and rental car are paid for, nothing else is and I didn't want to pay for parking. Of course, I didn't get this info until she had already safely made it home. So now I'm waiting for her to come back.

                    If it makes you feel any better, I had a flight out of Midway scheduled in the middle of a huge snowstorm about two weeks ago .

                    Got to Midway at 2 PM and finally took off at Midnight.

                    Coulda been worse though, I suppose.

                          They just interviewed a lady on Channel 4, she had a flight to Cleveland today. She said her flight was canceled and they can't get out until Saturday.
