Okay that is current age and then who appointed them and then years until 80 - one justice has a negative 7 since he is 87 already.

In the next 16 years we could have 6 new justices.

My grandpa was a judge until he was 83 (on the federal side). Seems a lot of those on that side work as long as they can. He died at 86.

He had to get out. After his wife died in 1991, he really was never the same guy. He felt that by going to work he would be able to focus on something but it just dug a deeper hole.
