Did you ever meet Wilma Rudolph - I meet her when she was in her 40's and I was a young 20' something - I would have begged her to marry me if I thought it would have worked.

Bo Jackson and Herschel Walker were pretty much the same speed power guys in my book - except for Bo being able to hit a baseball a lot better.
Both didn't make my cut because of Jackson very short career and Herschel not being better than Jim Brown or don't throw stuff - OJ as a Running back. Indeed - I probably should have had OJ on this list.

I did not meet Wilma. This list of mine is from the head. I took folks that obviously excelled in one area, but had some exploits that proved they were well rounded. I did not consider character or length of a "professional" career. Jesse might be on the short end of that straw, but I couldn't not include him.

I think Bo has to be on any "top" athlete list.
