Seems to me she is a savvy investor..albeit a hyprocritically savvy investor.

I have been buying Wal-mart stock for about 5 years..double-digit returns.

P.S. If anyone has the financial means, buy Japanese Yen if the spot rate is above 109. The Yen will appreciate and be 103-105 versus the dollar in the next few weeks. You can make some serious $$$ on the Dollar depreciation. (seriously)

Ok....so when you have a vested interest in a company...you should keep your mouth shut??

          Jeezus JD....

I used to view you as a hardline Republican...now my image of you is Mel Gibson's father.

That childish crap with Trig about "another thread about me" about a million times really turned me off to even listening to what you had to say...

If you're willing to be that damn grade-schoolish and respond to him (when he was posting legit opinions at least, whether you agreed or not) by taking the time to continually say that crap...well...that speaks volumes.

Right or wrong...you now strike me as a big conspiracy theorist who thinks there's a vendetta against the GOP...and you're here to set everyone straight.

I would ALMOST vote AGAINST Bush just based on you.

However, since I DO have a mind of my own, I'll make that decision independent of this forum.

            Hypocrisy lives in the left.

Do as I say, not as I do.

And isn't it rich that the limo libs that Heinz was talking to -- who probably like Paris Hilton -- don't even know what WalMart is, are advocating for the poor (pun intended.)
When you say to your neighbor, "We're having a loud party on Saturday night if that's alright with you," what you really mean is, "We're having a loud party on Saturday night."

So, have we figured out yet how Laura Bush escaped any punishment for vehicular homicide?

The way I see it ..is like this

No way gays would ever vote for Republicans..therefore, Dems know the have the poofter vote..therefore, they need to garner those more conservatives..so, by saying they are personally against it..but it is a state issue..they are trying to pander to those that may vote Dem..but be more socially conservative than most.

                Just my feeling..

                  Wangster,

They lost the Reagan Democrats in 1980 and - as the party lurches steadily leftward - it's a struggle to get them back.

Does anyone here really believe that THK actively manages her portfolio?

This aggressive attacking of the spouse of the presumptive nominee gives me some hope. Indicates something is amiss with the opposition.

It certainly worked for the GOP when they went up against Clinton. :P

Might want to check what you own stock in before railing them?

Does this compare in any way to no-bid contracts for Haliburton? Come on...

                            Winston,

It's hard to spin this positively, I agree. I hope you agree though the next time someone points out the latest chapter in the Dick Cheney best-seller "Hypocrisy."
