  • Why do so many people say calvary when they mean cavalry? Big difference. Rick Harrison should know better.

It’s cheaper to call it calvary than to actually call in the cavalry.

Sorry, the setup is just too overpowering:

            CNN suspends Chris Cuomo indefinitely

Good, what he did was really sketchy and would've got any intern or staffer fired immediately.

Cuomo's law degree aside, I do not believe what Cuomo did was unlawful. However, his action sure was ethically immoral given his position and the industry in which he works. The suspension is warranted and deserved. Frankly, CNN should've suspended him long ago for being a self-righteous arrogant tool.

Compared to FOX counterparts, he's a MENSA candidate.

Maybe after he gets the boot from CNN, maybe he can go to MSNBC, and take over the 11th Hour since Brian Williams is leaving/retiring.
CNN is suspending prime time anchor Chris Cuomo "indefinitely, pending further evaluation," after new documents revealed the cozy and improper nature of his relationship with aides to his brother, former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

                              • More evidence that Trump is a garbage person. Tested positive *before* his Biden debate as was speculated, now confirmed by Mark Meadows. This doesn't make Trump look great but Meadows throws him under the bus anyway to sell books. lol

He also lied about getting covid from meeting with Gold Star families. In fact, he tested positive the day before he met with them and went ahead and kept the meeting. No shame, no conscience. Doesn't really seem capable of having feelings at all.

Former President Trump tested positive for Covid-19 on Sept. 26, three days before he debated President Biden and six days before the White House publicly announced he had the virus, former Chief of Staff Mark Meadows wrote in his new book. The White House announced Trump tested positive for Covid on Oct. 2 and he was hospitalized at Walter Reed Medical Center.

“Nothing was going to stop [Trump] from going out there,” Meadows wrote. The Guardian obtained a copy of the former chief of staff’s book The Chief’s Chief ahead of its release slated for next week. Meadows noted that Trump seemed “a little tired” and may have had a “slight cold” before receiving the news of the positive test on Marine One. Trump took another test that came back negative, which allowed him to participate in the debate as both candidates were required “to test negative for the virus within seventy two hours of the start time.”

Meadows notes that even after the second test came back negative, he “instructed everyone in his immediate circle to treat [Trump] as if he was positive” because he “didn’t want to take any unnecessary risks.”

Trump was not so cautious. “Hours after he received the call from Meadows informing him of a positive test, Trump came to the back of AF1 without a mask and talked with reporters for about 10 minutes,” New York Times White House correspondent Michael D. Shear tweeted on Wednesday. “I was wearing a mask, but still got COVID, testing positive several days later.”

Meadows wrote that Trump treated the subsequent negative test as “full permission to press on as if nothing had happened.”

Trump responded to the news in a statement released on Wednesday. “The story of me having COVID prior to, or during, the first debate is Fake News. In fact, a test revealed that I did not have COVID prior to the debate,” he wrote.

It’s a stunning revelation that Trump, 74 at the time, knowingly risked exposing Biden, 77, and untold others to the virus. The positive test came hours after Trump announced the nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court, an event that is now believed to have been a super-spreader event. At least 12 attendees tested positive for Covid within days.

The timeline of Trump’s positive test revealed another lie told by the former president. After Trump announced his Covid diagnosis, he speculated that perhaps Gold Star military families - those whose relative died while serving - had given him the virus. But that event happened the day after his first positive test.

In a Fox Business interview, Trump said of the event with military families, “I went through like 35 people.” He said they were were “telling the story of their son who just died or daughter or husband, who just died in a war or recently died … They come within an inch of my face sometimes. They want to hug me and they want to kiss me. And they do. And frankly, I’m not telling them to back up. I’m not doing it. But I did say it’s obviously dangerous. It’s a dangerous thing, if you go by the Covid thing.”

It appears that Trump was the danger.

President Donald Trump tested positive for Covid-19 on Sept. 26, three days before he debated Biden, Meadows revealed in his new book.
" Look, forget the myths the media's created about the White House--the truth is, these are not very bright guys, and things got out of hand."
