Janet-fucking-Jackson...fucking shit up for everybody...these self-righteous do-gooders need to be stopped...
. . . and to tell you this: I work with gays, have friends who are gay, go to church with gays. Most of them are aware that I believe that homosexual behavior is sin. Some of them actually agree. Most don't. It's OK . . . because they also know or at least have been made aware of my multitude of sins: adulterous heart, lustful and covetous behavior, wicked pride, angry spirit . . . do I need to go on?

I personally like Stern's show most of the time, but it's not something I want my kids listening to, and unfortunately, it would be way too easy for them to listen. TV and radio has gotten pretty bad, even for my tastes. While I'm all for people being able to listen to or watch whatever they choose, we need to make sure that the adult stuff is kept out of easy reach of the kiddies. The V-Chip in TVs now is pretty good, but doesn't always work, and the ratings really need to be reviewed.

Howard should tell Mel to fark off and cut a deal with Sirius or XM. He'd sell one hell of a lot of subscriptions.

I can't imagine anyone to the point where they cannot live with Stern, so they pony up for XM.

Then again, I'd probably do that for 24.

Many other reasons to get satellite radio. Exclusive Howard would be a big pull for more than you might imagine.

I have listened to Stern off and on for over 20 years. First when I was on the east coast and now in syndication. He is the perpetual teenage boy trying to look up a girls skirt or cop a feel. Is it offensive - yes. Does it corrupt - I don't think so. Of course I don't think Janet's breast corrupts either. Both however should come with warning labels. Satellite is one way but either a V - chip for radio's or repeated Warnings that this material is not suited for anyone under 21 should be added. Man - I might have to listen today just to see what he says. Clear Channel is major goof that dominates the Black market without giving much back in the way of jobs or community service.

Stern is not my cup of tea, but, I have the common sense to move on, thus not allowing myself to get offended.

I have no problem with them going after the people involved in the "Janet-fucking-Jackson" incident, that was on national TV and shouldn't have happened without notice to parents, but we have covered this already.
Stern on the other hand, you know what you are getting with his show, they should leave that alone.

I agree to a point, but how easy is it for a kid to tune into Stern? Is that ok?

How easy is it for parents to take responsibility for what their kids do?

The times that Stern is on the air, kids should be waking up, getting ready and going to school...where does that leave time for experimenting with Stern without their parents knowing???
