Cards need to win to stay at least 1.5 games up. Last week of the season. Pennant race. A spot on the post-season roster may depend on how he does. The amount of his next contract may depend on how he does.

I hope Albert can pull out another one.

Hey...I'm 1-0 this year out of the pen...and that one win was right after the first 8 game losing streak (and I think I had Marquis that time, too...)

After the Stros lose this afternoon the magic number will be 3

Jason will make it 2 - with help from Rolen, Edmonds, and Belliard.

When we take the field tomorrow night - we will push the Astros to Dorme - and they will lose either Friday night or Saturday - it won't matter - we will win on Saturday and Sunday.

Okay so let me correct myself -

Cards win tonight and Stros go to 2 back after their rainout.

They are then 2 back with 3 to play.

We win on Friday and move them to quasi dorme.

Saturday and Sunday finish it.
