  • PC Question

This is the million dollar question. I have always wondered how to do this, if there is a way.

How do I make every file and folder viewed in "LIST" format?

I dont want to have to open the file or view it to change it to list format. Is there a way without going into the file and clicking view-list?

There has to be a way to do it that all files are viewed as a list.

I just put several cds, songs, and other files on this pc and I dont want to go into the 350 folders and have to manually do all of them as a list.

    Thanks guys.

Are you talking about in Explorer or in applications?

In Explorer just get it the way you want then under TOOLS/FOLDER OPTIONS/VIEW select APPLY TO ALL FOLDERS.

Inside applications is trickier. You need a utility for that.

BTW, isn't there a button on the far right side under the File/Edit bar that gives you viewing options?

The one I use allows you to set the size and different attributes. I like it.
