  • I frelling give up...

I'm mechanically challenged when it comes to using carpentry tools and I"m trying to hang a frelling shelf in my room by drilling the screws into studs in the wall....

One problem: they only go halfway before they stop and end up stripping the screws....

anyone have any ideas on what the hell is going on and is it okay if I just go ahead and not screw it into the wall (its essentially an untreated wall, essentially)...

    thoughts b/c I'm going nuts....

Should have stayed awake in shop class.

I own 2 tools, a hammer and a screw driver. If I can't fix it with them...screw it, it dosen't get fixed.

Are you sure that you have wooden studs and not metal studs?
