If I lived in the NY area I'd open my home to her and her baby

It's amazing that things like this can slip through. Where are the churches in this?

    Grote,

    You ever lived in NY?
And, frankly, it has never occured to me that "winning" a debate is important, or that I should be hurt when someone like Airshark or kah, among others (for whom winning a pseudo debate or declaring intellectual superiority over invisible others is obviously very important) ridicule me.

From what I saw, I can't say I'm surprised by the lack of response from churches up there.

I attended several parishes that actually believed their role in social justice was to write letters (of grievance) to government.

        Sad.

My family still lives in NY, you just can't imagine the cost of housing and the unemployment rate, it's unreal.
Be passionate about what you believe in, or why bother.
