  • Is Charter Mail Down?

I use Charter's webmail to access my mail from work.

It suddenly stopped connecting and I get a "timed out" message.

Can anyone else connect to mail.charter.net?

          I don't use charter, so I can't tell you.

I can tell you that pinging it returns no response.

Yes. I'm having the same problem. Overall, I like the service but their e-mail is not very reliable.

Here I am, refreshing my mail and FedEx tracking every minute and one of them goes down.

I have charter, but I don't use the email. I kept my old email address because I've had it for a long time.

charter throws me fits at home though with losing connection and stuff. It's been better lately though.

I had a problem last night using high speed connection through Charter. Which is a rarity.

Funny y'all mention this because I got a call from some guy in the 616 (western Michigan I think) area code. He traced it to my work saying that someone on the charter.net network was "spoofing him". My company hosts charter.com and has nothing to do with the 1.4+ million charter accounts. All we do is host their website. I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not, but for all we know it could.

Do you happen to host FedEx's webpage?
