  • Can I Turn Off Avatars or All Pics?

This site has become unsafe for me to view at work =[

Yeah, I can avoid the threads where I think someone might post a photo of Salma, or the ones where I would post one of my crush, Lisa Dergan.

But I can't really avoid the avatars and sigs.

I love Britney more than most, but I can't really view CiE's posts while at work -- at least I shouldn't, not to mention BBZ.

I love these avatars, and at home I think they're great, but at work.......

Is there a way for me to turn off seeing people's avatars?

    Thanks.

Go to My Controls, and then to Board Settings.
    You can turn off both.

      Excellent.

      Thank you.

Do you know if this prevents them from being downloaded into the cache as well, or are they downloaded and just not produced on screen?

I'm concerned with the tech guys seeing my cache, etc.

        That, I am sorry I don't know.

Can you just ask the tech guys? Just tell em whats up, tell em your doing your best by turning the stuff off not to have it on your computer.

Maybe I'll turn them off and then go clear out my cache and see whats up.

Just tell them there is a stupid foreigner trying to take over the U.S., starting with a sports board. Also inform them that you are contacting the proper authorities. Alternatively I'm sorry I'm such a perv.

              Nononono.

              I love your avatar.

Don't apologize. I want it to stay.

I think you might be covered by turning that stuff off.

Unfortunately this week will be Angelina. She is my true obsession. :(

Oh and for some reason I can't explain Serena Williams too.

Ask the tech guys before it becomes a long distance call!
Norman Chad, syndicated columnist: “Sports radio, reflecting our sinking culture, spends entire days advising managers and coaches, berating managers and coaches, firing managers and coaches and searching the countryside for better middle relievers. If they just redirected their energy toward, say, crosswalk-signal maintenance, America would be 2 percent more livable.”

"The best argument against democracy," someone (Churchill?) said, "is a five minute conversation with the average voter."

They are going to know you are using a Sportsboard at work without even looking at your cache. I would think they would be more concerned about that than some slightly objectionable images.
