    Here's 2 articles on the same story. One mentions that the thwarted attacks were to involve chemical weapons, the other doesn't. That's awfully strange to me.

      Is there one from a "Bigger" source that says it was a chem bomb?

        A bomb made with fertilizer is considered a chemical bomb.
