    Ok, so its not a surprise.

    At all.
    When you say to your neighbor, "We're having a loud party on Saturday night if that's alright with you," what you really mean is, "We're having a loud party on Saturday night."

    do you have a link? I'm in training, so I haven't heard talk radio. Marque Perry didn't qualify until late that summer, either.

        Not as bad as it seems. Tough break for SLU, at least he still plans on gonig to SLU. Nothing wrong with having a kid mature for one more year.

          I'm pretty confused about the LOI rules. If he can't sign another LOI until November, I don't think he's open to recruitment until then. It sounds to me that he wants to come to SLU, if not, oh well. Proof again that SLU takes academics first, and I'm fine with that.

          Winston...I think your info on Lisch is bunk. I called a few people last night, unless Keady did something to convince his father that Purdue is the place, it's not happening. The family has a healthy disdain for Painter, as he refused to come to any of KL's early work outs and snubbed his HS coach.

          Of course, the whole purpose of the workout could be to show Purdue coaches how easily Xavier Price is owned by real talent.

            We don't let them in if they don't succeed academically. The kid worked on his GPA, and that was alright. His ACT score was the issue.

              I really, truly believe, that if we have Tommie Lidell and Kevin Lisch on the same team, we're sweet sixteen bound. This could be even better, because wouldn't that mean that TL's eligibility starts in 2005?

              I think they've narrowed our last scholarship down to three solid JuCo guys. TL could mean we get two. I like Meyer and Polk a LOT.

                NCAA was my understanding.

                And no, its not the end of the world because he's only out a year. But, there is no guarentee that "something" wont' woo him to another school.

                Its too bad really, I like Coach Soderbergh. I got to know him a few years ago when he was an asst. under Dick Bennet.

                Nice guy, I wish him the best.

                    I had a feeling he wasn't going to make it the first year.

                    It wouldn't shock me if he didn't show up at all. Which would blow.

                        You guys just talking about Lisch makes me nervous. So I'm not gonna say a word, positive or negative, about him.
