Tales From the Cardinals Dugout

I was pondering getting this book and havent heard anything aside from Amazon reviews, etc. Anyone here read the book?

Its Tales From the Cardinals Dugout...........A collection of the greatest stories ever told about the Cardinals.

I might just check the book out at a library. I read the other book "Tales from the Dugout : The Greatest True Baseball Stories Ever Told"

It was a great book. I am hoping the Cards version isnt cheesey and can match the other book.

I think I might have bought it but I have no clue where it is now.

I started to read it a little and got bored. I love Forsch. He's my guy, but this ain't my kinda book.

What didnt you like about it?

Its likely a quick read, since each page or two is a new story with a different player involved.

I wish we could have a newer version written, with TLR stories and modern players from late 90's to 03, as told by current players.

Jack, I am an impatient reader. If I see something as silly as a split infinitive, I am likely to get annoyed and put the thing down.

As it was, I think I kind of just got bored with the stories.
