        the really dumb thing about this:

        the ad campaign that she is referring to in her lawsuit that "accused Coors of "glorifying a culture of youth, sex and glamour while hiding the dangers of alcohol abuse and addiction."

        that started late in 02, during the 02-03 football season. so, unless this kid died past september of '02, then she's suing over an ad campaign that wasn't even going when he died.

        besides this......the lawsuit is just fuckin' dumb. like dev said.....why can't people just buck up and take responsibilty for their mistakes. this is one my biggest pet peeves.

          Why would a lawyer - even take the case? You know he or she is got to be doing it for the pub.

            Why would they? It's just the liberal doctrine that has been spreading throughout our country. Don't worry about your problems, the government will take care of you. A teenager gets preganent. No problem, just abort the fetus. Personal responsibility means that people won't need to depend on the government all the time, thus stripping power away from the politicians. This mentality has been put into our society for years now. In the past 5 years, we've seen it taken to it's ultimate conclusion with all of the ridiculous lawsuits.
