  • A little help please.

My PDA is exhibiting some disturbing symptoms of planned obsolescence.

Currently using a Hewlett Packard Jornada 470 but it will no longer sync with my desktop Outlook program.

I use a PDA for the originally intended uses:
    Contacts
    Calendar
    Notes & Tasks

I need a PDA that will sync with my Outlook program on the desktop so that I am not duplicating entries between travel and office.

As I start to look for a replacement would appreciate any suggestions. Have heard the new HP's are pretty good as well as Sony.

    Price can be anywhere between $300 - $500 +.

    Your comments appreciated.

        Try a Palm Tungsten E.

I bought one last month and it's pretty good. It's about $200.

I know you can sync to Outlook with the new Palm but doesn't it require some special software to do so since the Palm uses its own contacts program (versamail)?

Yeah, you can set it up to Sync with a few different types of email clients.

              Thanks Iowa.

I'll add it to my shopping list and check it out.
