They really should split the award. If Carmelo and LeBron switched teams, would the Nuggets be out of the playoffs and the Cavs in? I think not. Both were huge all year, and you can even make a case for Hinrich and Wade too. Overall a great rookie class.

melo shoulda won, IMO. he stepped up his game in the latter part of the year to will his team into the playoffs.
