  • Kerry Wood lost it today

Cubs choke it in the ninth. Good times at the ol' ballyard.

Yeah, he went nuts. Charged at the ump, got ejected, then threw his helmet and batting gloves on the field.

    He is fiery.

Then the classy bleacher fans followed up by dumping their trash on the field.

I thought Wood was going to kill the umpire. Brilliant move by Dusty, leaving him in long enough to blow the game.

Yep. They got tired of it in SF.

Did anybody see the pitches to Dunn that got Wood so fired up?
                Were the calls that bad?

I think both of those pitches were strikes.

I noticed the umpire was Eric Cooper.

                    He's an ass.

                      Wood got hosed.
And, frankly, it has never occured to me that "winning" a debate is important, or that I should be hurt when someone like Airshark or kah, among others (for whom winning a pseudo debate or declaring intellectual superiority over invisible others is obviously very important) ridicule me.

                          Birdo's an asshole.

                          Everybody knows that.

131 pitches thrown. If TLR let any of our boys throw that many this early in the season, we'd be hearing a lot of moaning about it here.

Dusty is going to ruin this young set of arms.
