  • Good bye

    Hello,

Man, that game sucked...the Blues just flat out blow this year...didn't even belong in the postseason...

It was too painful to watch...I buried my head in my hands in my seat when it was all over, and the next thing I knew, the place was empty and the cleaning crew was asking me to leave...

I sat there, motionless, for 50 minutes in my seat...just numbed by it all...

    So...I'm done...no more hockey this year...period...

    I won't watch a second of it...

I'm going to take some time off...get in shape...go bike riding...maybe get laid...

I might catch a few baseball games here and there as well...

Hopefully the next time I see the Blues, they will be sans Tkachuk, Demitra, Mellanby, Pleau, and Sauer...and I could actually have real honest-to-God hope in my heart that the team might actually do something...or at least be worth rooting for...

Dude...you're probably pushing it with the "bike-riding" part...
. . . and to tell you this: I work with gays, have friends who are gay, go to church with gays. Most of them are aware that I believe that homosexual behavior is sin. Some of them actually agree. Most don't. It's OK . . . because they also know or at least have been made aware of my multitude of sins: adulterous heart, lustful and covetous behavior, wicked pride, angry spirit . . . do I need to go on?

Start rooting for that team you hate and life will be so much better.

Don't get hurt on the bike.
Be passionate about what you believe in, or why bother.

                BFiSF,

For as long as we've been following the Blues, we should be used to this by now.

Ever get the feeling that Blues fans are just like women who stay with abusive husbands?

Not only is this a goodbye to this season but also a goodbye to an era. In my life as a St. Louis sports fan, I cannot think of an era more wasted by a St. Louis team than this era was by the Blues.
