I guess we'd better get used to it.

Could be worse. Cedeno could be out there.

How many people would like to see that little fuck Biggio catch a fastball between his eyes?

I have always thought the world of Biggio. He reminds me of Pigpen from Charlie Brown. The getting hbp's thing gets on my nerves though.

But it was OK for Vina to do it?

It's okay for any Cardinal to do anything.

No, even though I got tired of his hbp's, I did and do still like him. It's baseball.

I got tired of the damage he perennially does to the Cardinals about 10 years ago.

Yes, but I love the Astros anyway. I usually love the Astros Cards games cos they have been the best ones in recent years.

I just wanted to make sure.

I think with the reward comes the risk. You wanna lean in on a pitch? Fine, then next time up you won't need to lean into a pitch to get hit.

Personally, I wish the umpires would disallow the HBP if they stick the elbow out there. Vina, at least, had the balls to lean into a pitch without a sissy pad on his arm.

Probably to save the wear on his knees.
