Carpenter's arm didn't fall off, if that matters to anyone.

A HR in his first Cardinal AB by Mr Moon, was willed over the wall by me. Therefore I'm the sponsor of the week.

Is anyone even sponsoring Suppan and/or Morris?

I believe a sponsor's job is also to warn others of things that could happen. To know your player like a book.

                I do that routinely.

Things will get better with RayKing. They really will. He just needs to be used in games properly.

Jeff was just playing possum his first time out. He knew he'd be matched against Houston and Roger Clemens his next time out, so he was setting them up.

Think how overconfident they'll be now.

That being said, and not trying to excuse Jeff's ineffectiveness, but I think the worst sponsor of week 1 - pitching category - is whoever has the Simo-man.

Simo-Man's just, uh, making sure the fans are paying attention in the outfield. And it feels so good when he cranes his neck to watch the ball fly over the wall...
