          I heard that they were going to let the Japanese go. Then they came out with demands which all sounded relatively "non-terrorist" if that makes sense.

            No actually they asked for Japan to get out of Iraq, Japan said no, a bunch of Clerics in Iraq asked that they release them, so they are.

            At least that is what I heard.

              dyyy i heard they'll be released in 24 hours or so but didn't hear specifics.

                That kooky power-hungry "cleric" had some demands that weren't what I was expecting ... they were basically like ... get the hell out, hand over power, have elections, etc.

                That was at 6 though - it might have changed.
