  • A big giant Fu$k You

The latest state with a majority of dumb-ass, homophobic retards that feel the need to put probably the only article in their constitution that RESTRICTS the rights of their citizens by banning Gay Marriage, mostly because they find it 'icky.'

Why the majority of these dumb-asses feel the need to prevent a gay couple from easily setting up spousal benefits, power of attorney, decisions regarding their health, etc continues to baffle me. But because it's something they don't like, the citizens of Texas (overall) feel the need to enact this centuries version of 'Jim Crow' laws, basically allowing discrimination against an entire segment of the population.

If these are the type of people that will be in heaven someday, I hope I don't end up there, because I'd end up just beating the fucking crap out of these morons anyway, and probably be shown the direct escalator to the depths anyway.

    ChiTown,

They don't find it 'icky'. They believe it is a sin because an ancient piece of fiction told them so.

Gonzo, you are going to start a Christian Jihad if you say stuff like that.
“I’ve always stated, ‘I’m a Missouri Tiger,’” Anderson said March 13 after Arkansas fired John Pelphrey, adding, “I’m excited about what’s taking place here.”

Asked then if he would talk to his players about the situation, he said, “They know me, and that’s where the trust comes in.

According to their interpretation, anyway. I've read the parts in question, and there are different ways to interpret the passages.

Regardless, these people feel it is their job to pass judgement on gay people instead of, you know, Gods' job.

            Let's do it!

And while they all turn to Crawford every day at 5pm to pray to their god, we strike!

              If you're serious - you're a dope.

I'm still waiting for one SOLID reason why anyone should give a damn whether two men or two women get married or not. I've been asking for one for years, and have yet for anyone to answer.

I could even buy an argument against gay marriage as long as civil unions - with all the same benefits - were OK. But no, anything resembling marriage between two same-sex people must be prevented at all costs, because we'd rather teach our children that love is wrong in most cases, but bombing the fuck out of other countries and cultures is just fine.

It's pretty easy to see that for you, any reason given won't be good enough. So why bother?

Regarding your comment above about being able to translate certain Bible verses in different
ways, sure, any person could take a verse from the Bible and make it say whatever they
want. But I think the Bible is pretty clear about homosexuality.

Is it only Texas that has passed similar forms of legislation? If I recall correctly, a number of other states haven taken similar steps against Gay Rights, so I think it is safe to say the fuck you should be dealt out to more than just the Lone Star State. Remember, there are ignorant Red Neck hicks EVERYWHERE...even in blue states.

I do agree with you that in this day and age this is a little sad. What do these people think? Their vote is going to cause people to stop being gay? If a man loves the c0ck, he loves the c0ck...and it should be his right to do so. Just like NFL Cheerleaders should have the right to get it on.

But I wouldn't worry. It is just a matter of time before this all ends up at the Supreme Court and bans on gay marriage are deemed unconstitutional and then married gays can be just as miserable as us married straights.

I think we shouldn't allow rednecks to marry.

                          Chitown,

Their argument is that it is a "slippery slope".

"Whats next, someone wants to marry their dog?"

They use that one, or they quote things from the Bible.
“I’ve always stated, ‘I’m a Missouri Tiger,’” Anderson said March 13 after Arkansas fired John Pelphrey, adding, “I’m excited about what’s taking place here.”
