Highway 40

Rather than spend $500 million to fix it and ruin everyone's life who has to get downtown from West county for 5 years, why not leave it alone and spend the money towards building a light rail system like real cities have?

You realize how hard it was to get light rail to even enter the city of Clayton?

the old money in this town will never allow b/c it would make it incredibly easy for those of lower 'class' to enter into their tony 'burbs, which is why it was such a pain in the ass to get it to skirt into Clayton.

the people w/ money in this town don't care and they are the ones that continually fight it.....can you see the looks on their faces when you bring up putting metrolink tracks along the greenbelt section of 40/64 which runs through Ladue, Frontenac and Old Warson [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif[/img]
