I hear it's excellent.

Yes. Good stuff. But I ain't buying that some historian driving around in his car has "definitively just discovered the actual location of battle X, or watchtower Y!!!111"

          Very good series!!

The acting is much better than that Category 7 crap that I watched (all of 5 minutes of) the other night.

No doubt. That was pretty funny. He made it look like he was just cruisin' around and decided, "This is the spot where the Christians were ambushed by the Turks"........."It must be, there's a valley, it's damp, etc., etc."

I'm sure it was much more researched than what it appeared though. It had to have been. If not, I'm sure "Native Americans" used to live in my back yard.

It is very good. The Crusades can be tough to get a hold on, simply because historians are so fucked up about what a Crusade was or wasn't.

The History Channel wisely stays with the three biggies called by the Papal States on the Holy Land.

Wait, a show that's not about Hitler?

                            I ain't buyin' it.

I hate when they have the actors dressed up in period costumes explaining what happened and stuff.

Just give me some squeaky-voiced George Will-looking pencilneck from the University of Edinborough or something.
