    Has anyone ever been caught???

    One of my employees came into my office while I was away...and unfortunately...saw some of the PWNED pictures up...

    Well...he asked me what it was...blah, blah, blah...

    So...who else has been busted @ work while cruising the Lounge?? How and Why??

      when i was in college, home for the summer, i took this job at a law firm -- some really sleazy hole in the wall place in Crestwood -- and did some legal secretary type work...pay was $20/hr, so it was a good job.

      the boss was a little prick, though. he was like 55, would talk about how much "young pussy" he was going to get, it was probably one of the more disgusting things I've ever heard. come to think of it, maybe he's on this Board?

      the only good thing was, when the ol' poon dog left for the night, i got to sit in the office by myself to finish up the work. so while I was working, I turned on Yahoo! Messenger to chat with my girlfriend. You can probably already guess what that is.

      That's right, it's a BAD IDEA.

      Anyways, we proceeded to have a 50 page chat about various sundry topics, including the color of her panties and other things that I don't think I'd want to have SHARED WITH THE LAW FIRM, THE TEMPORARY AGENCY THAT PLACED ME, and God knows who else they FAXed it out too. Even though I did all the work, both companies jacked me out of paying for the 6 hours or so I worked, instead sending me a check for $13.

      God can only hope that that transcript has been burned...

          My guess is that logs were kept on things. Only thing that has got me nailed at work was I sent out a joke email to 6 people that I thought I was tight with at work. The email was a fake letter from the HR department about language at work. It said something like:

          We are getting lots of complaints about cussing in the workplace so here are some examples of what to say.

          What is said--what the fuck?
          Replace with--I do not understand

          Well somebody took offense to it and called HR right away. I was a tech at this company so after I sent that email I went on my rounds around the office. When I came back I had a voice mail from the HR director about it. So I went to the 6 people I sent the email to and said sorry if it bothered them at all and 3 of the 6 had seen it already, 2 thought it was a riot and the last one was not in that day. So I thought no big deal. It was a joke being played on me. Next thing my boss called me into his office and there was the HR director. They showed me the email and said because of it, I had to be let go. I then asked if it was one of the 6 people that sold me out and they said they could not say names (no shit), but they did say it was one of those I sent it to. I then went off. I said that the person is a flat our liar because I asked if it offended them at all and they told me no it did not. I said that person is going to lie to me about it knowing darn well I could lose my job so they will lie to their boss, customers and everyone else. That person would cost this company money in the long run. Needless to say that person was fired 2 weeks later. Freaking bitch Katie was.

            That sucks...but, just further evidence of the existance of Karma in the world. If she did not have the balls to tell you to your face she was offended..she deserves what she got.

            Fired over that...is the USA that PC now you can get fired over one off-colour comment/joke..if so..I could never work in an American company or in the US..just another reason why owning your own business is the best thing.

            On the bright side...seems you have a much better situation now.

              I think a lot of people just get off on being able to take offense to something that really does not offend them. So they see the joy of somebody being burned to the cross so to say.

              The company I work for is actually run by a bunch of guys that used to work at the railroad together so they all know each other. It is a good natured group and we all get along well. It is no problem to send jokes around at all. So if they were here and saw me on here, they would not really care at all. As long as I am getting my job done, it is fine. So yes Wang, it is much better now and I get paid more too (imagine that)

                I can't even get the Lounge to come up at work. I think since my little adventure with radny last year my boss has limited what chat rooms I can visit.

                      He and I got into it over at Bernies and he emailed my boss and tried to get me fired. I still don't know how he got my name and all the rest. I wanted to kill him. Thank God my boss coud see what a loser dick he was and is.

                        I know I am being watched so i go to my controls and make sure I can't see nothing. The problem is this board can be so funny - you wan't to share it with some coworkers some time and that can only get you into trouble.
