Reading between the lines, he did. He talked about the things that happened towards th end of the negotiation. He was referring to the numerous "leaks" to the media, the spinning and smearing that most people thought was the reason. highlighted by a story in the Sunday Globe that portrayed Theo as a little kid who Lucchino dragged around by the hand.

I kind of figured that much. It'd be a complete 180 by Theo had he done that.
