Gotta love the hot stove league.

Of course, these players will all suck in the playoffs.

Pretty well thought out, Brosnan, good job. Although I hope to never see Rudy Seanez in a Cardinal uni.

He was with the Rockies for a year or so in like '95-'96? And he was in the same bar I was every day. For every beer I drank, he downed 2-3 scotches.

wow, that's a lot of money tied up into set-up and closer.

instead of giles, get matsui i you're going to give giles, who's 3 years older, 8 mil a year, may as well pony up a little extra for Godzirra.

YOu're not going to get Ryan for 4 mil, and I doubt you'll get Seanez for only half a mil. And those guys won't get it done for Abreu.

I missed Giles, no way he only goes for about 6.

You're missing the contract structure below the team roster.

No way Giles goes that cheap and no way they move Abreu.

If he gets less than 10 mil from anyone besides Atlanta I'd be surprised

cheap?? it's too much for a guy at his age. i'm tellin' ya........if you're willing to spend 8 mill on giles, why wouldn't you go after Matsui for a little more. he's better, and he's younger.
