Would like to have Sanders for one year, but some team will probably give him two.

Morris on the other hand, don't let the door hit you where the good Lord split you.

If Sanders were to ask for two years at two million per, I'd do it.

        As for Morris.

As long as LaRussa is in the Cardinals dugout, the door will always be open for Matty Mo.

Yup and he will start in the post season no matter how much better the other guy has been playing recently. Loyalty is good, but not blind loyalty.

Don't you get tired of posting the same crap over and over again? I guess you still wanted to see Marquis, the guy who couldn't get a bunt down in Game 4 and made the critical error that set up the victory for Houston? And the guy who still, seriously, is not as good a pitcher as Morris?

Anyway, the point I should have made was that it would be more logical to sign Morris and trade Marquis. If Morris goes, we get nothing. Marquis can be traded for something of value.

                    Second the motion.

Ain't it grand to have TLR as our manager ?

I love how Marquis turned into a Saint when TLR decided to pitch Morris in the playoffs.

Marquis was fucking awful for most of the second half. I would have gone with Mo also.

However, I would have pitched Suppan ahead of him.
