    The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

How many of you folks went to see the crowds "back in the day"?

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    riday

    CRITIC'S PICK: FILM

    "The Rocky Horror Picture Show"

Midnight Friday-Saturday and Nov. 4-5 at the Tivoli Theatre, 6530 Delmar Boulvard. $6.50. 314-995-6270.

If you think that a lot of the gaiety has gone out of the world, maybe that's because it's been 14 years since the last screening of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" at the Tivoli Theatre. But for those who've been quivering with anticipation, it's time to rush to your closets and pull out your garters - or anything else that might be hiding there - because Rocky is celebrating his 30th birthday. For the next two weekends, the Tivoli will host midnight screenings of the 1975 horror spoof, led by a well-rehearsed crew of time-warped merrymakers called the Samurai Electricians. Come in your most fabulous fishnet garb, but leave your prop confetti and squirt guns at home - everything you need will be provided for your pleasure.

Kev, is there something you're trying to tell us?

Some deep, dark secret you're unwilling to openly reveal? Something perhaps you're not consciously aware of?

      kah,

Take out of it what you want. My wife dressed as Columbia and I dressed as Riff Raff back in 1980.

        Interesting movie -

It was a bomb - then a hit - then an icon.

When I watch it the first time - I couldn't stop staring at Susan Sarandon's breast.

Which is what I still do -

          Schwa,

A few stations have ran it on television. It's not the same as seeing the audience participation.

I dated a girl that was in to it - she took me - it was cool.

My wife was just a "dear friend" at that time. She asked me to go with her to a midnight showing. Twenty five years later, and two sons adde, life has been like a "time warp".

Went to see it a lot when I lived in Atlanta. Still like most of the music. Have a few songs downloaded.

I remeber watching this at the Tivoli, where they always started off with a couple music videos, one of which was "Paradise By The Dashboard Light'. I was always disappointed when I saw it up here, and they didn't do the same thing. Especially given the audience participation during the video.

                          "Do you love me?"
                          "FUCK NO"
"Will you love me forever, do you need me?"

Jeebus Kev, don't make Airshark retell all his stories about this damned movie.
I've gone to see it "with audience participation" (like all other audience members but me, because I'm just so damned boring) a couple times and all, but Shark talking about it makes me severly uncomfortable. Like I'm talking to a guy two seconds away from, well...this comic.

And do you really want to see Shark in a leather corset?
                            Never mind, don't answer that.
"Whaddya mean I hurt your feelings?"
                            "I didn't know you
                            had any feelings"
