  • Wednesday GDT: Cards vs. Brewers

Will Woody's arm fall off? Can the Cardinals ever win a game?

  • #2
I am not so enthused about this game cos I picked this one as the only one we would lose in this series.

Maybe I am right in the opposite way.

    I hope we win.

    Is Cedeno starting again?

Did marquis get the start last night so that Woody would go in Houston?

I'll be watching the Astros vs Giants again. Good series going. Rocket vs Bonds.

I will also watch the Mets vs Braves. Kaz is going to win a batting title soon. Most scouts say he is faster than Ichiro. I believe it after last night.

I like to watch Drew K.

We need to see the fellas gut one out tonight. Nothing easy about today's game.

Is it too early to say "must-win?" It kinda seems like it.

I've seen enough of Cedeno to last me the season.

Also, in other games, Bonds goes for 660 on ESPN2 against Clemens in his Astros debut and Maddux makes his first start for the Cubs since 1991.

How many pitches should Woody pitch?

Cal's due to appear in a game, isn't he?

Please no more Simo unless we have a really big lead or are completely out of the game.

            Please.

Good eye. We're probably on the Woody five innings and then Cal takes over plan.

However, if Woody is due up 2nd in the bottom of the 6th he might try to squeeze another couple of batters out of him and get his count over 100........

                  I betcha Woody doesn't see the 5th.

Oh wait, I betcha he shouldn't see the 5th inning?

                  Oh, I sound bad today, don't I?

I don't have a good feeling about Williams after watching him pitch last Friday in Memphis. I've never felt good about Eldred.

Someone mentioned Matsui--that was a pretty nice debut.
                    I'm always right.

If Woody cant beat Matt Fucking Kinney and his crew, then there should be a banner above Busch come Thursday.

I've never had a good feeling about Williams, period. Even though he's had some very good stretches.

                          I just don't think he's a quality reliable #2.

This year, I think he'll suck. I don't see him being a factor.

                          Hope I'm wrong.

I worry about injury and age with Woody.

Ever since sometime last year, I felt this would be a real tough year for him.
