The racist Skynyrd would play with ray.

this is so bizarre that I can't even vote...
. . . and to tell you this: I work with gays, have friends who are gay, go to church with gays. Most of them are aware that I believe that homosexual behavior is sin. Some of them actually agree. Most don't. It's OK . . . because they also know or at least have been made aware of my multitude of sins: adulterous heart, lustful and covetous behavior, wicked pride, angry spirit . . . do I need to go on?

Ray's version of "America" should be worthy of a few votes.

              Tough.

Do you vote on talent or taste? Ray Charles, another legend in the music biz. There's no denying that. Skynyrd can't even come close in that aspect. But they did give us a great soundtrack for our dunken antics.

That ludicrous Yaks. Now it is undeniable that some of Skynyrd's followers were racists, but to apply the same tag to the band is a common misconception that is not true. "Sweet Home Alabama" was written as a response to Neil Young's "Alabama" saying that there are good people in Alabama. A lot of their stuff was done tongue in cheek.

I pose the question, just because a bunch of southern white boys hang the confederate flag, does it automatically make them racists?

This vote shouldn't even be close. A bunch of crackers from Florida is beating one of the greatest voices in the history of music? Unreal.

Mick Jagger is in better shape than far too many NBA players. It's up in the air whether the same can be said of Keith Richards.

                          Oh snap -

This contest is about to lose all credibility - Ray Charles losing to some run of the mill band.

I voted for Ray. LS should have lost in the last round.
