My fantasy team will be very disappointed to hear that.

Didn't look like that bad a hit, to me.

Wish he had run away from the play.

Can Jamie (with Vitt and Fairchild - and Larry Marmie) beat N.O.?

Jax will be a big struggle with MB.

Season probably over - if it wasn't already.

I didn't know this guy named Bulger was even on the playoff roster.

Can we put Reyes in his place?

Jamie Martin? Good lord, there has to be someone outhere better than him. The guy looks like he's afraid of his own shadow.

Marmie must be the worst defensive coordinator in history.

The player personnel got better and the defense got worse.

              He needs to go.

I wonder if this is the type of thing that will be prone to reinjury throughout his career?

                    QUOTE
                    Acromioclavicular (AC) Joint Sprain

                    Description
Injury to the joint on the top of the shoulder, with partial (grade 1 & 2) or complete (grade 3) tearing of the ligaments with dislocation of the AC joint.

                    Common Causes
Fall onto shoulder, occasionally by lifting heavy objects.

                    Symptoms
Pain on the top of the shoulder. May have bruising or swelling at time of injury. There are often complaints of 'popping'. May develop a 'bump' or deformity on top of the shoulder.

                    Physical Findings
Tenderness at the AC joint. Positive 'AC joint compression test.'

                    Workup
Physical examination and x-rays are usually diagnostic. Occasionally, stress x-rays are required.

                    Non-Operative Treatment
Rest, sling, and pain medication for grade 1 & 2 sprains, until symptoms subside. Most grade 3 sprains heal with time, although some advocate early repair in the competitive athlete.

                    Surgical Treatment
Repair is performed by 'relocating' the dislocated joint, and repairing the torn ligaments.

                    Comments
The majority of these injuries do heal with time, although a bony deformity is common. Surgical repair of the ligaments in grade 3 sprains may lead to faster recovery and better performance in certain athletes.

NF way. They learned from their experience when Warner went down in 2002 that Jamie Martin will always be superior to some unknown quarterback. He substituted for Warner when he went down in the Dallas game, and completed 24 of 37.

The next game, against San Francisco, Martin completed 23 of 40 while Marshall Faulk ran 18 times. The Rams lost both of those games.

There is no way you go with someone unknown, until Martin has recorded a couple of losses. That is just the way it is. Ask Bulger---he could tell you. He had to watch Martin lose twice before he started and won 5 games in a row. He was unknown.

Wow, the Jags miss Roethelisberger, have a bye week, and then get to play the Bulger-less Rams.

                              This is known as "lucky".
