  • TO THE BEST FANS IN BASEBALL

Those of you attending Game 6 tomorrow night have no idea how many thousands of people in Cardinal Nation you will be representing.

On behalf of them, I have a request: Get out of your chairs. Get off your hands. Make some noise.

Remind Roy Oswalt that he's not in Houston anymore. Show Brad Lidge just want it means to leave the door open for the best team in baseball. And, most of all, let the Houston Astros know that there is no dancing in the dugout as long as the St. Louis Cardinals have one more strike.

Please, fans, no more docile Midwestern picnic type evenings at Busch. When Eckstein, Edmonds and Pujols come to the plate, they ought to be greeted the way Scott Rolen and Larry Walker were for their first Cardinal at-bats.

We need chats of "Let's Go Cards!" even when the game is tight. We need signs. We need the kind of noise you generated when Jimmy sent the crowd home happy a year ago on a different Game 6 night.

This game is a gift, courtesy of a team that won't give up.

    Show your appreciation.

Cheer so loud Jack will hear you in heaven.

              Great stuff, KBF.

Dear God, KBF here. I'd just like to say thanks, once again, for allowing Dusty Baker and I to live during the same time period. Every time I think he's given me his last gift -- overpitching Prior in the playoffs, getting cocky in Game 6 vs. the Angels, blowing another game for the Cubs -- he does something stupid like pitching to Albert Pujols. Thy will be done, baby!!!!!
