FedEx is a piece of shit. I never thought I'd say it, but UPS owns.

FedEx will never get my business again.

I checked my tracking number this afternoon, and there had been no activity since Friday morning at 6:30am.

So I called. After some computer system gave me the same tracking info as the Internet, I finally talked to a live human.

She told me they didn't deliver to homes on Mondays.

Weird .. I got home to a "Final Attempt" notice from Fedex this evening.

Now if only DTV would have told me they were using Fedex I could have said "send it to my work .. I can't stay home to receive shipments during the day". :rolleyes:

Somehow you came to the understand that Fedex Ground and Fedex Home are the same.

FedEx Home doesn't deliver on Mondays

I've had the experience of not seeing tracking info get updated or even not show up on the website until I already had my new toy in my hot little hands.

I've never seen a Fedex update until later in the afternoon. What is the estimated delivery date on the tracking page?

That's a whole other issue.

It shipped last Thursday.

When I got my tracking number, I immediately threw it into the box at FedEx.com.

It told me the estimated arrival date was Friday, the 20th.

It didn't show up Friday, so I checked Fedex.com about 11:30 in the evening.

Suddenly, not only was "Friday, Feb 20" gone from the tracking info page, but the entire line Estimated Arrival Date had VANISHED.

It has not returned, and there has been no activity on my tracking number since Friday at 6:30am.

Ouch.

Call Fedex and talk to a rep. I had a 4 day delay on my cell phone a year or two ago because something got messed up in their Memphis facility. They offered to ship one free package for me. I wanted to take them up on it by sending a steaming pile to their CEO.
