  • Mabry's AB

Walker's play puts us in position to tie it anyway.

Takes the best pitch Lidge threw anyone.

Flails at one of the worst.

Hits it into the only scenario that ends the game.

    Ugh.
    The Dude abides.

I expected that from Mabry. He is a good hacker in general but not when you need a precise at bat.

    Sanders' at-bat was equally terrible.
    Dude. Can. Fly.

Yeah, to pin the clubs woes on Mabry seems abit silly. Way beyond a goofy AB, but eerily parallel to Reggie's effort at second.

It's aboot as silly as blaming the woes on Marquis...

In general, I agree, but the dude walked the leadoff hitter, then flubbed a sure out. Not to mention that piss-poor bunt attempt.

He has to have some culpability in the loss, but its still the offense who's failed us.

Mabry choked, but reggie's AB was worse. There was only 2 places that reggie couldn't hit the ball for Pujols to score, and he hit it to one of them.

Reggie's AB was shit, too, but, at minimum, if AP had stayed, we would have given us second and third with one out.

Failing to capitalize on Walker's brilliant play is really sad.
