Post subject: Sanders -- Nunez updates for Game 4
Reggie says he will take BP before the game and use that to see where he is.

Sanders said he felt pretty good on Friday -- but attributes that to the pain medication. After the medication wore off, Reggie said the pain was pretty bad. And he can't play on the medication, because it leaves him light-headed.

La Russa hopes Sanders can go in Game 4.

La Russa thinks Nunez can go in Game 4.

If Sanders and / or Walker can't go.

Well, Mabry had a very good AB on Lidge... same with J. Rodriguez.

If Nunez can't go, La Russa hinted that Mabry would get the start.

Heck, if Nunez CAN go, maybe it's time to play him at 2B and Mabry at 3B.

Grudzielanek is 3 for 25 in this postseason.

We'll see both of them in Spring Training.

Hate to say it, but it's true.

I think you're right on Sanders.

Nunez ... if it is a deep bruise they can numb him up without affecting too much mobility I think. Plus, he's young, right?

This rash of injuries makes me sick.

          It just sucks.

I think we'll see Reggie tommorrow. He's had a few days now.

We're due for something positive, right?

Mark Grudzielanek was awful in the playoffs when the Cubs went on that run, only to be cut loose with the Bartman deal. Maybe the Cardinals shouldn't re-sign him due to that fact.

                (the move messed it up)

He was there last year, too.
