INDIANAPOLIS, Oct. 13 (Ticker) -- Ron Artest reminded the fans at Conseco Fieldhouse of what they missed, while rookie Sarunas Jasikevicius gave them a glimpse of what is to come.

Artest scored 23 points in his first home game since his lengthy suspension and Jasikevicius added 13 of his 18 in the fourth quarter as the Indiana Pacers posted a 99-92 preseason triumph over the Utah Jazz.

      NBA TV highlights from
      Pacers-Jazz:
Play One of the league's top defensive players, Artest was playing his first game at home since the infamous brawl in Detroit last Nov. 19. He was suspended for the remainder of the season.

After receiving a warm reception from the crowd, Artest made 6-of-13 shots and grabbed six rebounds in 35 minutes.

Only two of Artest's points came in the final period, when Jasikevicius took over. The MVP of the 2005 Euroleague Final Four, Jasikevicius scored eight points in a 14-4 run in the fourth, including a 3-pointer that gave Indiana an 88-83 edge with 3:22 left.

The third overall pick in the 2005 draft, rookie Deron Williams had 17 points and six assists in 23 minutes for Utah, which played without Carlos Boozer and Matt Harpring.

Austin Croshere scored 17 points and Stephen Jackson contributed 15 for the Pacers, who rested All-Star Jermaine O'Neal, Fred Jones and Jeff Foster.

Jamaal Tinsley and Scot Pollard each did not play in the second half for Indiana due to injuries. Tinsley suffered a lower back injury and Pollard a strained left calf.
