• The Busch Stadium crowd should be ashamed...

Wow, maybe it was the microphones at Busch, but our fans have seemed terribly quiet in Games 1 and 2. A stark contrast from Games 1 and 2 last year.

If it was in fact the last game ever at Busch (unlikely, but we have to consider the possibility), then I'm very disappointed in those fans for giving a subpar effort.

It's those damn thundersticks.

You can barely hear the crowd over those damn things.

I guess Cardinal management thinks we're in Anaheim.

Yeah, I'm not a fan myself. But it was bad in Game 1 too. Like I said, it could be the microphones.

it was loud last night.

as loud as I have ever heard it when reggie was around...which was a lot.

What were people going to cheer? Not a very clean game.
The noise was good, but I thought they phoned in a lot of the funk.

the most excitement that I saw other than Pujols' jack was the actions of the drunk lady that felt up Steve in front of us. Plus she told the people in front of her to fuck off because they did not like the fact her feet were on a guys back and she spilled beer on him.

Ashamed for not being loud - hell I was ashamed for seeing all the writing everywhere when I was there. I felt like I was in a bathroom at a hole in the wall bar and that was OUTSIDE the stadium!

Yeah, the place is coming down, but I don't see that as a reason to scribble all over the place. Maybe it's just me and I have too much respect for the building, but I was pissed when I saw it...it's everywhere and growing FAST!

I don't know what the deal is with all that, meaning if someone said it was ok or if one person started it and then others took after it. IMO it trashes up the place...like I said, I personally have too much respect for the place to even THINK about writing anything there (unless its on a scorecard or something similar).

I saw a guy tonight that thought he was cute and wrote "Let's go Cubs"... Asshole.
