  • Anyone planning on seeing The Alamo?

I like the big historical epic type movies so I'll check it out. Plus my favorite red neck, Billy Bob Thornton is in it. I figure it's worth a try. Curious to see how accurate it will be. I like when there is at least a bit of historical accuracy in there. We'll see I guess.

The man who gave us Sling Blade and Bad Santa gets my money everytime. Not to mention knocking the bottom out of Halle Berry's fine ass simulated style in Monsters Ball. BBT is all good in my book.

The small (really big) models of all the different carriers was really cool.

            They had some great stuff.

Bad Santa was hilarious. Monsters Ball was a different movie but I still enjoyed it for obvious reasons. And Sling Blade, well I likes them french fried taters with mustard, mm hmm.

Im planning on seeing it this weekend.

Im very disappointed in the buildup of its release though. The original trailer (for when the movie was set to come out on Christmas 2003) was amazing. I showed it to hundreds of people and it got them all pumped for it.

Once they pushed back the release, they redid the trailer and it sucks. It's a shame, too.

I've seen it. Not worth the trip. Doesn't even have a basement, and they arrest you for pissing on the building.
