  • 439,000 new government jobs in March

Take a look at this chart from the US Department of Labor...

    http://data.bls.gov/servlet/SurveyOutputServlet

We went from 19,497,000 government jobs in February, to 19,936,000 jobs in March, a gain of 439,000!

Not only that, but 95,000 new jobs were part time jobs, "for economic reasons".

    http://data.bls.gov/servlet/SurveyOutputServlet

So we had a gain of 300,000 jobs in March, but a gain of 439,000 government jobs?

That means we LOST jobs in the non-government sector, right?

How did we find an additional 439,000 government jobs in one month?

    Its a mystery, isnt it?
“I’ve always stated, ‘I’m a Missouri Tiger,’” Anderson said March 13 after Arkansas fired John Pelphrey, adding, “I’m excited about what’s taking place here.”

Asked then if he would talk to his players about the situation, he said, “They know me, and that’s where the trust comes in.

        Very disturbing if that's correct.
Asked what he would do differently in Iraq, Kerry said, "Right now, what I would do differently is, I mean, look, I'm not the president, and I didn't create this mess so I don't want to acknowledge a mistake that I haven't made."

Did he say no new government jobs were created?

My bad, that link didnt work right.

              Go here

              http://www.bls.gov/webapps/legacy/cpsatab5.htm

Then go about 6 boxes down and click on the box that refers to "Government - seasonally adjusted".

That should bring up the chart comparing government employment on a month to month basis back to 1994
