  • Any On-Line Sports Gamblers Here?

I was just wondering if any Loungers bet on sports on the internet. If you do, could you answer a few questions for me?

    1. What websites do you use?

    2. Is it safe?

    3. Is it legal?

    4. What kinds of games do you bet on?

    5. Do you win?

    6. Do you have any tips?

    Thanks for your help.

    1. What websites do you use?
Sportsbook.com. They typically give you a free bet a week and they have good deals on redeposits. There are other good ones out there.
    2. Is it safe?
I haven't had any problems, but I still try and keep my balance in there as low as possible.
    3. Is it legal?
Probably not, but they aren't going to prosecute petty gamblers.
    4. What kinds of games do you bet on?
College football and bball(biggest opportunities to exploit bad spreads) and whichever team the Cardinals are playing in the playoffs. Seriously.
    5. Do you win?
    Yes.
    6. Do you have any tips?
Stay away from NFL and MLB games. Don't make picks when you are drunk. Avoid betting on your favorite team. Stay away from Parlays and other exotic bets.

      Don't bet on slow horses.

I was just wondering if any Loungers bet on sports on the internet. If you do, could you answer a few questions for me?

        1. What websites do you use?
        www.betus.com
        www.intertops.com

        2. Is it safe?
if by safe you mean, will i get ripped off...then yes it is fairly safe. alot of the sites are designed to make it a hassle to get payouts, i've found betus to be the easiest and quickets to get payouts...they all do this because they want you to say, eh ill make one more bet and win more money so its worth the hassle of getting the money out...then you lose the bet and have no money...don't be deterred or get freaked out if it takes you 2 weeks to see the money you won...you'll get it, you just have to be patient.

        3. Is it legal?
        yes.

        4. What kinds of games do you bet on?
baseball exclusively up to this point. wanna bet on college football and nfl, but haven't yet.

        5. Do you win?
i've won more then i've lost, but then you raise your bet and try to win more money, because like i said above, its a whole big process to cash out and while deciding whether or not to cash out, you notice another game you'd like to bet on...its just like being at the casino, you think you are ready to go home, but you just wanna win that extra $100 and then you'll go...in the process of trying to win that extra $100, you lose all your winnings + what you started with...have restraint and patience and you can make some good money on sports betting...or any kind of betting for that matter.

        6. Do you have any tips?
parlays help to win a nice chunk of change quickly...
bet on favorable pitching matchups in baseball and injuries in football...you can also steal some money betting on hockey if you catch wind of a backup goalie starting for a team on any given night, because the lines never reflect that.
generally i don't advise betting on your favorite teams...it ends up taking away from the experience, you don't enjoy the game at all...

        Thanks for your help.

You're being fucking dramatic. You own a TV and an air mattress. That's not exactly what I'd call "a lot to lose."

As far as parlays go, I kind of agree and kind of don't...

I never bet a huge amount of money...and parlays give me the opportunity to bet $10-$20 on 3-4 different teams and instead of winng 1.8 times, i might win 6x's...

I guess it just depends on how much money you have to play with in that regard.

I agree. When I do parlays too, it's never a substantial amount of money and I do it for kicks more than anything else.

To put it another way, don't count on winning too often with parlays and don't make them a significant percentage of the the bets you place.
